Combining Training Plans
I am trying to combine:
A.
100K plan (Hal Koeners book) - Oct 1st
B. 15K smart
coach plan - July 10
C. 26.2
Runtrix/NYRR Virtual Trainer Plan - Nov 6th
Today I
combined 8 miles from plan A. with 6 miles from plan C @ 56-61 minutes
(9:24-9:40 pace). So I ran the 6 miles at
9:19 over my normal course, which is quick, then added two miles after. The
entire run averaged 9:18
Plan B was 0 so I am ok with that
for today. The philosophy is do the miles in Plan A, do workouts of Plan
C within the miles of Plan A, and do the Plan B withing C.
