Trying to lose weight to improve performance



It's hard to run when you are fat.  No offense to the anyone, I am over my "normal" weight.  Its not a shame or vain issue: stuff hurts.

I am reading the 21 Day Keto Reset, but I am not adopting a new food religion.  Step 1 is limiting my favorite 3 things, ice cream, chips, and beer (oh my!).  I get pretty hooked on sugar and can't stop.  So I have to drop it.  Once I do, I eat most foods.

238lbs and counting - goal 210lbs.
